4 /5 Miles Martin: Overall they are a good store. I like the personell whore friendly and direct. Negatives are their inability to give you a reasonanle deal. Whether the reason is a lack of knowledge, authority, or just plain store policy is unknown . But if all you need is a short-term loan on an item that you will redeem anyway then its just like a high interest loan from any other establishment and acceptable in certain circumstances.

1 /5 Morgan Tolleson: Stay away from this pawn shop. They will steal and lie to take your personal, priceless airlooms. Went back to pay back loan and pick up my item one week after I dropped off. Because the lady didnt select the correct information they sold it could not reveal who they sold it to and did not reimburse me. Criminals.

Over the years, Ive been to my share of pawn shops and from organisation to quality to overall prices #AcadianPawnLafayette is a definite on the top 5 list from someone whos seen the good, bad, and ugly side of pawn shops. You want fair prices! You need to make or spend a bit of cash! I went in not knowing what to expect with my first pawn but I knew from browsing twice before that the older mustachioed gent (I didnt get his name), a tall younger fella (owners son I remember) and a dark haired young fella helped me with all my questions and a fly-by-day visit became a permanent loyal customer just because I watched how they treated everyone and even the young lady who came out from the back was super friendly with the customers. After 25+ years in customer service, I was so taken back that even if they couldnt help me find what I needed they would still earn 10 stars. It is awesome to see a business, especially a local family business, thrive on treating folks good and being a community cornerstone. Im happy to share my experience!!!
