TrustBank - Olney

Elizabeth Collins Paula Kocher assisted me with completing my home loan. She was amazing the entire process and made it so easy and did all this while I lived out of state! She is kind and thoughtful and went above and beyond by collaborating with her peers to come up with a list of potential contractors to complete some work I need done. I am so grateful for her professionalism and generosity of spirit!

Grants Financial Services- Tax & Accounting Advisors - Chicago

Alvie Red My spouse and I had a lot of changes in income, property (bought& sold) in addition to filing jointly which we were not familiar with. Ms. Grant was pleasant and knowledgeable of so many different aspects of the tax system. All of our concerns were addressed during our consultation with Ms. Grant. We felt a big relief, especially compared to how we felt last year around tax season!

KTB Financial Services, Inc - Bloomington

Sharkie48 I became representative payee for a friend who used to have to go through KTB. Even explaining the situation to Social security, at the office, the woman stated, you have to understand all these people have mental problems and arent easy to deal with and do not know what is going on. Exactly what was said, so very sad!! I didnt even know how to respond honestly, I never expected to hear that at all!! I watched his stuff closely, there was a time he didnt make enough funds to pay the KTB fee, which it was waived. Around 8 months later he started receiving SSDI from his fathers retirement, the fees that were waived were all taken out in 1 day after they were supposedly waived. It showed clothing, shoes, etc, we could see it because of a bank error that he was able to see the payee account for a day or 2 and then it disappeared again. Why would it not say KTB fee?? And when waived, they can take it out 8 months later, 5 transactions in 1 day? Apparently this is ok to Social security because they believe no one that is a client knows what is going on! When it was first reported to Social security, he was told if he went through with a complaint that he wouldnt get paid for several months while they were investigating, just to scare him into not going through with it. Well, I became his payee awhile later and was pretty much ignored and no investigation happened. Someone needs to help these people! He has several emails asking why the fees were taken out, no response to any of them!! If he asked another question in the same email, it was addressed but the part regarding the waived fees was not addressed. I just feel really bad for all of these reviews because I saw first hand and they are correct but no one wants to help. He was even threatened to not be a client because he didnt trust and his behavior was unacceptable, I have 100% transparency with his money and have zero issues at all. People just want to be included and have transparency of THEIR money and sadly it doesnt happen. Even the rule book for being a payee states, you may not like or agree what the client wants the money for but ultimately it is their money. As long as the bills and necessities are paid, but since he can see everything and feels like hes a part of and not a child asking for allowance it has taken away any issues. Thats all people want, it doesnt matter if they have mental health issues, include them, everyone deserves that!! Kim did work with us when I took over so he didnt have to wait for what he had saved to go back to social security then to him which she said could take 6 months, she just paid it on bills and everything evened up, that was appreciated but alot of things didnt add up during his time as a client.
