2 /5 Oleksandra Dubyna: It has been an uncomfortable experience. It just did not seem to work. We have been with Allstate for over 10 years ( maybe a little less for me) and we moved to Hannibal MO area and needed to switch the agent due to the move. I have called in and of course went with Allstate. They have always been there for us and the quotes and communication always was timely and efficient. Sadly, it was not great for us: we would not get a card emailed to us even when we asked( paperless) and yes I think I should have asked more questions to have an online account set up, but I have been so spoiled for years in Gurnee IL, that I would just reach out to the agency asking for it and never got it. Then switched the payment type and got a letter that my account would be closed off ( somehow paperless did not matter there). Then I did some digging and somehow was paying more than I was paying in IL in Gurnee, while kept on seeing how MO could be a cheaper car insurance. It’s was so weird. It was frustrating to have to keep calling and only being told my messages would get to Stacy, but no one would ever confirm if she got it. I eventually decided to part way, figured it was not working for me and my family, got a quote that was half of what I was paying with Allstate. I called the office and the nice girl told me they would pass it on. I followed up with the email( force of work habit) never got a response and emailed the next day and a response from the agent was short and rude telling me how many times I called and emailed. It’s my money. Why wouldn’t I call? My monthly bill was like $240 and they were surprised I called and emailed so many times? Maybe most of the clients would not care, I did. I was informed that I should have gotten an confirmation-never got it, I get it it happens. Emails, spam folder whatever, all I was hoping for a communication from my agent that she got the request. I bothered them too much I guess. It’s unfortunate. Loved Allstate before. This office did not work well for our family.
