1 /5 Michael Anderl: Predatory fees: I paid off my auto loan over a year ago (November 2021) and felt that the remaining money I had in my account ($120+) was safe to sit with them. In the meantime, I changed addresses and no longer received paper statements. Over the course of the year I was charged "inactivity fees" until my balance was ZERO. I was able to dispute the last 60 days but I consider this theft. I placed my money in a bank because I felt it could be trusted there but it literally would have been safer buried in the back yard.
