Midwest Bank - Monmouth (IL)

5 /5 Eric Peters: Never had a problem with this bank. One time I was over charged and rung up a ton of overdraft fees. I had a conversation as I was out of the area when this happened and they were willing to work with me. I think they removed the ones that stacked and just had me pay the first one. Then they helped me get rid of the ability to even over draft so that worked out. Now I am not saying everyone will have this experience and maybe it was because I was on orders they helped me out. They also helped me refinance a vehicle and reduced my cost and payments by a lot. I recommend this place for most people looking.

1 /5 Sarah Taylor: If you want no perks of a modern day bank... not impressed with your website update. It takes even longer for charges to reflect in your account and sometimes takes days to show a charge that used to show automatically. In case you want to work with a bank like their from the 1800s.

5 /5 Amy Arteaga: **** update **** A few new tellers that are an amazing addition to the branch. Adrian is very personable and friendly. And the 2 other tellers that I havent caught names yet. Keep up the great work, guys. :) I always have the best customer service from the 1st step inside the doors to the last one on my way out. Charmaine, Mary Sue and your whole teller staff are amazing! And Stephenie G always has a smile for me when I enter. Keep up the great work!

1 /5 Matt: They deleted my previous review so here it goes. Theyre super snobby, which is hilarious considering theyre a small bank in the middle of nowhere. Definitely dont feel welcome there. They also charge frivolous fees that sap your accounts. Closed mine last week.
