However, I feel it is important to offer a word of caution regarding Mariner Finance as a company. While they do provide access to funds when you may need them most, their lending practices can be considered predatory.
In my experience, I was initially grateful to secure a loan through them. Unfortunately, I later realized the loan carried an exceptionally high interest rate—35% APR—which I believe is excessive and takes advantage of borrowers in vulnerable financial situations.
Thankfully, I was able to pay off the loan early and transfer the balance to a different creditor offering a much more reasonable 12% APR. I would advise potential borrowers to carefully review the terms before proceeding..
