2 /5 Daniel R. Greenfield: Ive been a customer at this bank for over 40 years. The quality of their debit cards is poor. Flimsy plastic, and the chips on their cards are always getting damaged and refuse to work anymore. Ive had three go bad over the last three years. In the past I could simply ask for a new debit card and they would send one to me at no charge -- of course. Now Im being told that I must pay the ridiculous fee of $15 to get a new card sent to me. So apparently its my fault that their flimsy debit cards go bad so frequently. And it certainly doesnt cost this bank $15 to get a new debit card to me. But I guess churning out flimsy debit cards and then making customers pay 500 percent of the cost of a new one is a profitable strategy.
