3 /5 gustavo magana: The lack of communication was astonishing given that they are "excited to get to know the community of Waukegan." They gave very short responses with no interest to have a dialog. Even with the poor experience there was no hint of remorse from their part, or an attempt to help me understand really why they couldnt assist me. The receptionist really holds this place back. The person who answered my calls failed to answer even the most basic of questions, properly schedule a call back( I tried 3 separate occasions, being asked to wait for an hour+ at a time.), or even direct me to another location or number that could help. Only after leaving an upset message was I given a serious response from someone remotely capable (within 15 min.) Nobody wants to conduct business in this manner. Not only did I have my time wasted and was left in the dark for it, at the end of it all there was no help to be found here. The only reason I am bumping my rating up is because my mother while attempting to reach the office arrived just as they were closing. The door was locked however, someone came to the front door and still took the time to invite her in and assist her properly. This shows a growth that I like to see and appreciate. (for context this claim has taken 6-7 weeks so far. Generally the experience from multiple areas within the claims team has been negative. From not being taken seriously because I was speaking on my mothers behalf, after she called to authorize my doing so. As well as the claim team not being able to get in contact with the dealership even after giving them the information. Only after my mother went in person did the claim holder go, same day, directly to the dealership in question. In fact it was the dealership that got in contact with Allstate first after 2 weeks of silence and deflecting answers. There is only 1 classic Toyota in Waukegan. A quick google search will show this, yet they told me I was providing the incorrect information.)
