Dave and this establishment are pillars of Joliet’s community. Without his store front on Jefferson Street? I swear to God, I would think the world is ending. The quality of his jewelry knows no end! I have seen rare volcanic diamonds that could only be obtained by crossing the world over. Dave Nelson is one of those people that you rarely, if ever, come across in a lifetime. If you have jewelry that you need him to validate? He is always the first one to be generous enough to do it, even if there’s nothing to validate in an endless pile. No one else does this, trust me, I have tried. When my mother passed from breast cancer? I had so much questionable jewelry and there was no one or where to go that would check it all, except Dave. He was there for me, professionally, and always has been. Dave is exceptionally generous. His son is also one of my very best friends. If I could cover all of the times that Dave was there for me as child? I would. How many times he put dinner on the table for me while I had none? How many times he stuck up for me to bullies? How many times he had pig roasts and invited the entire community? I could go on, forever. This place? These people? They defy quality and kindness. They show you the very definition of ‘Class’. Streetandsky41 Got a great deal on a rare bicycle and saw plenty of other deals that interested me. Friendly staff. Fair pricing. Good variety. Watched a staff member clean the sidewalks right before they opened which is nice to see in the area.

ᗰคгรєlค ᗰ. Area 66 has been a part of livingston, Illinois, since 2005. It is housed in the 1926 built Livingston high school! Theres 30,000 square feet of antique mall named after its iconic pink elephant that is smack dab right in the front yard! They have a bunch of other fiberglass giant unique photo ops, too! People can see then right from the interstate as theyre driving by, I think its a great addition cause it makes people want to pull over and check it out. For years, we drove by this place wanting to stop but never had the time, but today, we finally made that stop! Inside, there is a 50s diner, ice cream, fudge & Candy Shop, antique mall, haunted school. There are also over 100 booths with a ton of antiques, collectibles, jewelry, home goods, Tupperware, metal signs, and a lot of nostalgic things that I remember from my childhood!

Always blown away with the quality, professionalism and attention to detail that they effortlessly share with each piece and each visit we had with them. HolophonicStudios Awesome place. Its mostly a pawn shop with extremely reasonable prices, plenty of interesting items, and a knowledgeable owner. What set this place apart for me was the amount of car audio equipment available. Subwoofers and amplifiers of all types and sizes are sold here. I bought an entire subwoofer setup including all of the required wiring, an 800 watt amp, and a single 12 in box for $120. The owner even tested all of the equipment for me at the desk to prove that it all works. The next day, I decided that the sub I bought before wasnt hitting as hard as I wanted it to, so I took it back and got two subs in box with much higher wattage ratings for only $40 more, no hassle. The owner even gave me tips on how to install them for the best possible sound. Now the bass can shake my windows and mirrors if I want it to for a total cost of $160.

Jim Dempsey 45 years ago, we bought our wedding rings from Rodger. He was just getting started in his business. Recently, my wife lost her diamond when her ring got caught in a fence. She didn’t realize the diamond was missing until the next day. We searched but couldn’t find it. She couldn’t get the ring off her finger and had to have a local jeweler cut it off. My ring was too small as well. We mailed both rings back to Rodger’s son, Nick. We just got them back today and they are absolutely gorgeous! They look brand new! We highly recommend Rodger Burke Jewelers. They have great prices and are very professional. You won’t be disappointed!

Kenna Panger This is such a cute shop with a variety of different styles of clothing. There was also a good selection of shoes and jewelry as well. The owner was very friendly and energetic. It was definitely my fav place to shop in Havana!
