1 /5 Turner Kischa: Hello,let me just say this is for all Allstate agencies but Im in Pennsylvania. In June I walked into my kitchen to see this hanging from my ceiling. I filed with insurance, unfortunately, we have Allstate. I was rushed to the hospital in July from being severely anemic, I didnt know,but it was from a huge fibroid in my uterus. I finally heard from Allstate but couldnt talk until late July early August. I had to find a plumber who luckily used to be an adjuster so he knows the ins and outs. Well he turned in everything as he was suppose to but Allstate kept asking for more. I found out from our contractor was told that our adjuster has problems with her supervisor that doesnt like her,thinking racial problems. So heres a black woman helping a black family and we all are suffering. My surgery for the fibroid was Oct.10th 2024,I begged for work to be complete,in Sept. Allstate told us work can start,we were put in a hotel for a month in a half ,no work being done because no payments were handed out. Initial payment when we went into hotel we had to use $2k of that for food for my family of 4 for the month span,I was told I would get it back so I can give to contractor,I wasnt told there were limits,but only got back $400. So back and forth with Allstate,promising payments,nothing. Then my surgery,I had to try to recover in the hotel,which i couldnt so my pain kept coming back,couldnt go back to our home because black mold was found,my girls and I have asthma and Im allergic. So we had housing fund $46k,no one spends that much but we did bc we were in hotel,3 rooms for over a month with no payments to contractor. So without warning I was told we had to find somewhere to go. I put my girls somewhere n husband and I slept in car 1st night then found somewhere, I wont go into the horror this is. But Allstate wouldnt pay full amount for mold,that was a fight. Our estimates were low so our adjuster had to hire outside source because her supervisor wouldnt increase. Our adjuster disappears,this happened 3 times,seems everytime she does in our favor she goes missing. Anyway,finally mold is paid for but over $6k is still owed to contractor. Our house is not livable because we dont have a bathroom,its completely gutted,thats how much damage the leak in the bathroom and the mold caused,but nor where we are. This claim has been going on too long,its been an issue for all of us,so much my girls counselor said she looks so stressed and tired. We are desperately in need of funds to pay contractor and help with getting a lawyer. They have so many cases against them,I wish we wouldve researched 1st but needed insurance quickly to buy our first house. Im furious and definitely has put a strain on my mental and physical health. The pictures are of the kitchen ceiling and bathroom,under the bathroom. Now Thanksgiving we dont have a home to be thankful for to be in. Please help
