1 /5 Stephanie Smith: As for their reply: so what’s the excuse for the rude behavior, the taking customers behind me, and then kicking me out after she was called out for her lack of basic customer service? All of the excuses that were given in the response are completely understandable, yet she was too busy trying to “show me who’s boss” to perform her to basic expectations. Perhaps the owners and employees of this UPS store should take the specialized training courses offered to UPS franchisees so they can learn how to conduct business the proper way. All I received was a volatile attitude when I walked in the place with a smile. The issue won’t be resolved, and I can tell from the response that the facts and the actual problem don’t matter. This is purely a case of sticking it to anyone they feel like discriminating against. It’s obvious that the behavior of the employees in this store in high indicative of their poor ethics, lack of integrity, and shady morals. Horrible, horrible, horrible. The owners are absolute trash. The girl took my package and put it on the scale. I was forced to show my identification for some reason, even though I was mailing for someone else. Then she took two customers behind me while my package was on the scale. There was a discrepancy with the address my package was being mailed to, and rather than try to help me she decided to get frustrated and show her feelings, acting in a far less than professional manner. When she was called out on it she yelled at me to get out. You can’t call UPS and complain because, as I was told, it’s a franchise so you can only complain to the owner (how convenient for her). The only thing I know to do at this point is to report a violation of ethics, as well as report this particular UPS store in Milledgeville, Georgia. I don’t know who these people think they are, but they seem to think that they can treat you anyway they want and you have to put up with it. Now I am going to file a code of ethics complaint with UPS against the store, but I also plan on filing a complaint with the state’s Attorney General office as well as the state of Georgia ethics commission. UPS stores are required to operate by the rules, guidelines, standards, operational procedures, and any specialized training required by UPS Stores, Inc. (they definitely need more training). UPS stores are also required to operate by rules, standards, and ethics set forth by the state of Georgia business licensing. So I guess they’ll get a complaint as well. You can’t be forced to provide service for anyone, which is a good thing, However, the owners of this particular UPS store seemed to have forgotten that while they have the right to refuse service to anyone, that means anyone can also make an ethics complaint against them if they feel like they were discriminated against. In the end, I drove an hour and a half to another UPS store where the lady who helped me had zero problems helping me to figure out how to address the package properly, helped me with another package that’s been stuck in Macon for a month now, and helped me with who I could call to file a complaint against this particular store. That’s actually how I found out I can’t just call UPS, which she said that because of the proximity between the two UPS stores they actually get a lot of complaints about the behavior and professionalism of the Milledgeville store. Integrity and ethics is really the only thing anybody has in this world. The UPS store in Milledgeville Georgia has shown that they have zero ethics and zero integrity with the way they decided to handle their business this morning. I can only assume that their morals are in the gutter as well.

I arrived at 2:55 in a Saturday, after having driven 45 minutes from Jones County only to be turned away by the rude employee saying they wouldnt ship my stuff and they were closed. Online and the door says they close at 3PM. Why when I walk in five minutes before closing will you turn me away? The girl (young and of Indian descent for identification purposes) was extremely rude and would not ship my one box, she just argued (and argued and argued and was SO disrespectful) with me and continued to sweep and told me I have to be here by 2PM to ship something. Then make your hours state you close at 2? It was obvious they just wanted to be done for the day and were unwilling to ship one last box. ONE BOX! She even asked what I was there for and I told her it was one box and it could sit in the back until Monday and she very flippantly said "well making a label for something to ship Monday takes too long and our register closes at 3." There were three other people in line.... its not like the register just stops working at 3.... Will never, ever go here again. Which is a shame because I used to ship things from here all the time and never had any issues. But Ive never had such a horrible customer experience in my life. I have NEVER had a young person stare me in the face with defiance and absolutely no remorse and be so unwilling to help, and act happy/satisfied to be rude to a customer. I worked at a post office in college for goodness sakes. Its well known that as long as youre in the door before closing you get to ship your things that day.

1 /5 Joe Milholen: I went into the UPS store today for the fourth time in the last couple of years. To date I have not been able to ship anything from this store yet. There has been a problem every time. After the third time I said I would not go in the store again. But I live so close I decided to try it again. Today the problem was the lady at the counter divided the box I was using was not a proper box. Even tho I was returning something in the same box it came in from UPS. So I said fine do you have another box. She said yes then proceeded to charge me 8 dollars for a small 8 x 12 inch box. I decided not to be taken advantage of and left. The real tragedy of the whole experience was the person was very rude and a very smart mouthed. She stopped short of calling me ignorant for not understanding how a box I received from UPS could not be used to return it via UPS. I was dismissed and told to step aside for the next customer. I went to the shipping store on Garrett way in Milledgeville where I go at least once a week to ship items. This store had no problem with me using the same box! Long story short it’s a shame I have to drive several miles past the UPS store to go into town to ship my packages , but will keep doing so.

1 /5 Keith Regentine: This UPS Store franchise is a disgrace to the UPS name. They provide absolutely no customer service, especially to the surrounding rural areas around middle Georgia who rely on them. Because of a lazy new UPS delivery driver who refused to drive past our gate to deliver a signature required package, we were forced to either drive an hour to Macon or 30 minutes to Milledgeville, completely defeating the purpose of paying for delivery in the first place. The package was critical for work, but my fiancée (who the package was addressed to) works during this location’s limited business hours and couldn’t leave her job. We tried calling four times to confirm I could pick up the package for her. The employee on duty outright refused to answer the phone. When we finally gave up on getting help over the phone, I went in person with both of our IDs (with matching addresses) and the tracking number, exactly what’s stated in multiple places as the requirements for pickup. After waiting in line for 15 minutes, I was met with a smirk and told I couldn’t have the package because it wasn’t addressed to me. Their excuse? I might be trying to steal it. Really? If I was trying to steal a package, why would I have the tracking number and both IDs? It’s beyond absurd that my fiancée had to clock out, lose money, and drive 40 minutes out of her way to pick up a package UPS failed to deliver properly. And then this store has the nerve to charge an extra $10 to release the package. What purpose does this location serve except to make customers’ lives harder? They’re not just here for Milledgeville they’re supposed to serve the rural areas too, and they’re failing miserably at it.

1 /5 Tami Morris: The lady in this store REFUSED to give me my AAA discount. When I told her my UPS store in PA gives AAA discounts, she said NO GA UPS store gives them. Thats a LIE. SEE ATTACHED!! I left without sending my package. I know UPS stores are franchises and I refuse to do business with LIARS. UPDATE Well turns out since I posted this review they now miraculously do take AAA. I had a couple Amazon returns and one needed a label. I thought perhaps they could print it for free for me since we dont have a printer here at our vacation home and I had to come back to mail my package, but NO. She wanted to charge me almost SIX DOLLARS. UNBELIEVABLE AND UNACCEPTABLE. VERY VERY VERY POOR.
