1 /5 Arielle Christine: Former employee Worst interest rates, accounts, online banking & systems antiquated & good luck getting customer service on the line, great customer service in the branch aside from the branch manager with a power complex. Good luck

3 /5 Lorelei: Usually have great experiences with this branch, but this time was rather odd. Needed to deposit something so I figured I might as well get my new married name changed since it has been a while since I got married. The lady at the front was super sweet, she said I needed my marriage certificate to get the name change done. Cool, I go and get it and come back. The other lady up front directs me to the people at the desks, like where you open up accounts and everything. Cool. I wait my turn to be called and the lady at the desk says how can I help you, etc. I told her I needed a name change on my account, and she said, contrary to what the first lady up front told me, "I wont need your marriage certificate".. okay, interesting. We sit in silence for about 10 minutes, with her not saying much in between. Then she says "Oh, your husband needs to come in with his un-expired ID." Why? Joint account or not, I was trying to take care of business on my account, and I had all the needed paperwork, so now it is at a halt until we both come back. Kind of ridiculous, you never need an ID unless you are opening an account really, and it should update unexpired IDs automatically, but still have no idea what that has to do with my own account. She didnt even really explain why, it was a very weird vibe.

1 /5 Lori Chiesa: Very upset with them. My acct was hacked so the acct was frozen and was told that I could access my money if I went inside to a teller. I did so and was told that because of the notes on the acct they were unable to process my request. She said that I could close that account and open a new one I told her that was what I was going to do next week she told me she could do it today. I explained to her that I was limited on time so she said she was going to see about overriding the hold and allowing my request for withdrawal. After 20 minutes I was told there wasnt anything she could do that the acct was frozen pending completion of the investigation. I told her I needed my money today she said that wasnt possible I told her that this is ridiculous restricting access to my money. She said Id have to come in on Monday and talk to someone else. This isnt a guarantee that I will be able to access my accts. I was so angry and told her that I needed it today and pending on the outcome of mon may close the accts altogether. They are literally holding my money hostage!

2 /5 62144: I have been banking with synovus since they took over my previous bank. The only reason I still bank with them is because I do not look forward to changing everything with my billing. I have had countless problems sense, which has been many years, and now that I have moved to Newnan I am not even able to use the ATM. This goes for the Bullsboro and Temple locations. I have spoken to them many times about this issue which they are fully aware of and seem to be completely helpless to do anything about it. Good luck doing any banking if its not open.
