Southeastern Bank - Folkston (GA)

5 /5 Allen hill: Excellent bank. I have used the one in Folkston, GA for a couple of years and it has been very good. Its personnel are very nice. It aims to please and it does. It is a far better bank than the big ones.

1 /5 Robert Horton: I would give zero stars if I could. Tried to refuse service to someone on disability because they would only use it for cashing those checks? They cant earn an income. We had to speak with the manager in order to find out there is no such minimum term policy for opening an account however they dont want the account open for a temporary account. Which with a 6$ a month fee for someone on a fixed income is a very high service charge for a company with such poor customer service. Kathy Holt had to ask the teller what happened.

2 /5 Kim Manley: My debit card number stolen they stole over half my SSD check all I have for month it happened again, lost card I guess. Anyway over a year they wont give me debit card. Mind u Im 66 & been with them since 1996.they said to me I. Can transfer my account to new bank down street u know have SSD check direct deposited n new bank. It will b cold day before I do that. Life happens is what I told them. Still no debit card. They make me call EVERY TIME I SEND MY 28 YR OLD SON CASH CHECK TO PAY BILLS. ONE CLERK SAID U DIDNT CALL I TOLD HER I DID, THEY JUST TOLD HER I DIDNT & SHE SAID SHE"LL HAVE TO TALK TO OMEONE ABOUT THIS. FOR FIRST TIME EVER I LET HER HAVE IT, TOLD THEM BEEN THERE 28 YRS. IM TIRED OF ABUSEIVE ATTITUDES, RUDE TOO. ONE FRI. I WROTE CHECK $100 FOR WEEKEND, THAT TELLER DIDNT APPLY TO MY ACCT. TILL Tuesday giving me false balances, thought I had more balance anyway I ended up over $300 with check fees n negative. I know she did that no way would I let that happen. I have house payment & 7 prescriptions medical every month. 11/2 year later still dealing with no debit card, its such bull what to do?
