There were times early on & in the middle when communication lagged, and I had to follow up to get updates. That improved significantly toward the end, especially during the negotiation phase, which I appreciated.
One thing to note: the 33.3% fee felt a bit high compared to other firms, especially considering what I received in the end. I’m still grateful to walk away with something, but it’s important for clients to understand that dynamic upfront. Also, if you’re looking to borrow from your policy, know it’s limited (about $1,000 through a third party with fees), so weigh that carefully.
In the end, I believe they did a good job and delivered a solid result. I’m giving 4 stars mainly due to some early communication gaps and how the final return compared to the expectations given early on. Still, I appreciate their efforts!!! They were able to get me lower rates with companies involved to receive payments from the settlement which was a very big plus. I recommend you asking all the questions you need upfront so you can move forward with clarity and confidence.
