1 /5 Hali Littleton: I am very upset with how my request was handled. I use the app for majority of my insurance needs, but as this was pertaining to a cancellation I had to call in. I called on Monday October 3rd to request my policy be terminated. I spoke with Sheila and she provided me with the email I could forward the request to. I then in turn asked for confirmation of the received email before I got off of the phone with her, but she stated, “No I cannot, I have a customer in front of me. As soon as I’m done I will check it, thank you bye bye.” And promptly hung up on me without skipping a beat or taking a breath. My email stated to please send confirmation of the terminated policy. I gave it a day and still no response. I called Allstate directly and they informed me the policy was NOT cancelled.
It is understood she had a customer, but she answered the phone asking how she could help me. I would’ve much rather be put on hold and attended to later on instead of being rushed off of the phone.
Do better.
