1 /5 Emily Landrum: I had a policy with this company for at least 3 years, never missed a payment. Added a new car and asked how much my monthly bill would be, ai was told that they didnt have access to that number at the time they registered my car and would call me back with the amount. I never received a phone call and was charged $1018 when my previous payment was $272. No one in their right mind would have agreed to that! So instead of making your loyal customer aware, you purposely withheld that information to make commission.... And I would like to know why your sister company Direct Auto gave me a quote of $320/month for the same car and my current policy with USAA is charging me $320 for TWO vehicles?? Pretty suspicious dont you think? Thanks Allstate for swindling over $1000 from me and to my wonderful "agent" for not giving me the courtesy of calling me back with the astronomical amount that I NEVER would have agreed to. I do not trust the woman who set up my policy, who wouldnt even give me her name, and I would suggest that any current policy holders use caution. You had the number for my monthly policy and decided to not give it to me because you knew I would cancel. What a joke!

1 /5 Hali Littleton: I am very upset with how my request was handled. I use the app for majority of my insurance needs, but as this was pertaining to a cancellation I had to call in. I called on Monday October 3rd to request my policy be terminated. I spoke with Sheila and she provided me with the email I could forward the request to. I then in turn asked for confirmation of the received email before I got off of the phone with her, but she stated, “No I cannot, I have a customer in front of me. As soon as I’m done I will check it, thank you bye bye.” And promptly hung up on me without skipping a beat or taking a breath. My email stated to please send confirmation of the terminated policy. I gave it a day and still no response. I called Allstate directly and they informed me the policy was NOT cancelled. It is understood she had a customer, but she answered the phone asking how she could help me. I would’ve much rather be put on hold and attended to later on instead of being rushed off of the phone. Do better.

4 /5 Charles Kelly: Reid Mathis Allstate has some great people in there office. They are always cordial and helpful. I cannot say the same for Allstate the company their services have really deteriorated over the years. I love dealing with Reid and his staff, but not so much with this faceless seemingly automated company that Allstate is becoming.

When I am in there and others customers come in they call by name which is very impressive. Keep up the good work. Reid Mathis should be very proud of his team. ”

1 /5 ALAN ROYAL: I took out a home and auto insurance policy with Mr. Mathis. Mr. Mathis assistant informed me that as soon as a home inspection had been performed she would notify me of my next step. A month later I get a notice from my mortgage company that they had paid my new Allstate homeowners policy in full. Then I got a letter from my mortgage company instructed me to notify my former insurance company that I had a new insurance policy and to forward any refund. Having not heard from Mr. Mathis office as I was promised, I followed the instructions of my mortgage company. Then today i receive a letter from Allstate saying that my homeowners policy would be canceled at the end of the month. I didnt get any notifications from Mr. Mathis or his office of any of this. He has placed me in a very precarious position of having to find new insurance after canceling great insurance I had with Travelers. I do not recommend Mr. Mathis Insurance Agency.
