5 /5 Christina Ernst: Great Local Community Bank for all of your banking needs! I really enjoy working with Mountain Valley Community Bank (Piedmont Bank). I have been banking with them for business needs since they opened their doors. They truly receive 5 stars for customer care (thanks Courtney and team). I have used them for every type of service with foreign banking needs to checking and savings. They have always been quick with requests and competitive with rates.

1 /5 Joe Deloach: Would not recommend. They are great at accepting your deposits, but when a customer dies they have no empathy or concern with paying out the balance. Was simply going to transfer the funds to a new account and keep it there, but definitely will be withdrawing and moving the funds to Truist which has been amazing to work with during this difficult time. Dakota has no customer service skills, and messages to Don go unanswered.

5 /5 Susan F: Im a Forsyth County transplant who moved here a couple of years ago and havent looked back. I LOVE the North Georgia mountains! When I first approached Mountain Valley Community Bank at the request of my real estate agent, I wasnt sure what to expect. My situation was unique. Im a small business owner of an Airbnb and was just starting into my second year when the pandemic forced me to shut down. However, my fantastic loan specialist, Ken, and his wonderful assistant, Terri, worked their magic and got me qualified for an RV/tiny house in one of the local parks in time for a last minute requested early closing. Mountain Valley Community Bank is one of the only (if not THE only) banks that loans on these kind of dwellings and if not for them, my income stream would have been delayed. Now I can stay in this area I love so much and take care of myself financially in a way that I really enjoy. I cant say enough good things about these folks and I highly recommend them. When Im ready to buy my next property, I know exactly where to go. Thank you to everyone who works there for helping me reach my goal. I look forward to our next transaction!

2 /5 FreightTrain: Ive been with this bank for about 8 years. They used to be forthcoming and responsive. The tellers are fine, but the customer service has changed. I routinely am told one thing and another thing will happen with my accounts. Then, when I call to ask about it, someone will use a condescending tone to tell me I was wrong or that it was someone elses fault. Check out my screenshot of their website from today, in the middle of December--it says "Happy Spring". I think that says it all.
