It was in Rome GA branch and the one that assisted me was so nice and professional, explained all the details in regards about my question. Her ethnicity was indian i didnt got her name but she did a great job. She deserves a raise if she always treat clients that way.

1 /5 Rhey Morris: Recently opened my account, didn’t even get my other accounts switched over there yet, and I just closed it. Where do I start? I had to come back two different times just to be able to open an account because it was taking so long, opened my young daughter an account around the same time, and they didn’t tell us things like she can’t use Mobile deposit (I specifically asked when opening her account) Or that her checks from work would be on hold for a couple weeks. I called today with a question about the proper way to endorse a check before I deposit it, I did exactly what they said, drove there, and they wouldn’t let me deposit it because what the person on the phone told me WASN’T the correct way! then told me there would be a hold on it even though it is literally a refund check from the IRS! I’ve never had so much back-and-forth from a bank, one person tells you one thing and then someone tells you another. I don’t have time to deal with it, and I won’t when I’m doing my banking. I’ll stick with my other bank. They might be out of town, but it’s worth driving a little bit, they’re much more respectable and don’t jerk you around. Approach is everything in customer service, there wasn’t one apology for the inconvenience, or accountability for being given misinformation by their employee. The man I talked to, once at the bank, was cold, rude, and needs to work on his social skills and learn how to explain kindly to a customer why and how the action pertaining to their money is necessary and being done, instead of giving no information. I’m pretty sure the members of this credit union provide their paychecks, but you wouldn’t know it by the way they treat you. Also, there is a US treasury check verification website that banks can use, so there is no excuse for holding a check from the US Treasury that is listed on that verification site… and if there is, someone sure better be explaining it to me.

2 /5 Kay Mathis: Left a bank that I’d been with for 60 yrs bc my son recommended I change for convenience for him since I depend on him . Setting up the account , the lady acted as if we were a burden , no smile, no hello . Strange , so I thought . Since being there a little over a year, I’ve noticed all employees are not friendly . Never smile, no welcome to CVCU, & rarely a thank you. I’m looking at other banks . I grew up as a child was taught to smile , speak to ppl , and help any way I could in our small family business. It’s really strange as my self & daughter pulled thru drive thru yesterday, the lady never looked up or spoke. We actually laughed as we left , bc we were really expecting to be treated that way. I think CVCU needs to have a PR meeting or go back to orientation to learn respect for the customer . They always look stressed or mad . Now, the good part is , I’ve actually been thru & had a young man that was very polite & personable. Bless him ! I’m always hoping he’ll be there, but no luck, I get the mad ladies . Businesses must not train anymore, but common sense & politeness should come naturally .
