1 /5 Jerron Grant: Ive dealt with World Finance twice in the past. Both experiences were great. Ill never forget Ms. Tina, one of nicest, most professional, skilled, swift, prepared, attentive, involved, empathetic, and well put together specialists I have ever met, or done business with.
This last experience, which was a few days ago, was horrid and inexcusable. Whoever hired the group of people at the Abercorn Street branch, in Savannah, needs to be reevaluated and reprimanded for allowing such ignorance and disregard for professionalism in their office.
I called first, because I was sure the process had changed. I just wanted to know the rundown before beginning my application. I was met with rudeness, impatience and constant interruptions while asking questions. The woman didnt even put me on hold. She just ignored me while laughing and talking about frivolous nonsense with the woman who she identified as her manager. I was shocked at the sheer lack of attention to a customer, and the lazy, nonchalant attitude towards my inquiries and situation at the moment.
I was told specifically to submit certain documents, while explaining that I hadnt received a pay stub from my new job, but the stubs from my previous job were recent. I had never known this to be ok, but I was assured that we could proceed.I was told twice that this was fine after my credit and finances were reviewed and to expect a call in a few minutes. I was never called back. I called back the next day to inquire about the application, just wanting to know the status. I ended up getting a far better experience and loan from another company, but I wondered why I was never contacted by World Finance. Instead of letting me know then and there. The manager waited until I called back to say that she wouldnt proceed without a stub from my current job, that I already explained hadnt given me a paycheck yet, because I started on the Jan. 3, and was told to just send the most recent stubs I had. I offered to give my supervisors number two days before. I even had a letter with my pay rate and hire date from my HR manager.
These people are unprofessional and lack the tact to run a business office. I will never ever seek this company out as long as I live, not recommend them to anyone with an ounce of dignity and self respect. They have zero patience, people skills, and absolutely no idea how to talk to a human being.
