1 /5 teresa hunter: If I could give LGE Rome a minus 0 I would. It has been the biggest fiasco since LGE bought GCB. The last day of business for GCB was Aug 1 2025. The first day of business for LGE takeover was Aug 4 2025. Aug 4th was horrid..the folks from LGE seemed to be walking around as if they has no idea what to do. The lobby was packed every day week of the 4th.
I make daily deposits for the company I work for at this Rome location. It took 45 minutes jus5 to get to the teller. I also have an account here and was having an issue that I needed help with. So on Wednesday Chris Carter was standing at the tellers’ station. I asked he could help me, he said if I could wait he would. I was there to make the deposit for business so I had to leave, but I did say I would be back at 3:30ish. When I returned he acknowledged me, said he was with a customer and get to me as soon as he finished up with that customer…..this is the kicker…I stood in the same place for one hour waiting. He walked past me with the same customer he was working with, said I’m almost done and I’ll get you next.. finally he was done with that customer….I’m still standing in the same spot…if Chris Carter didn’t walk over to another couple that came in AFTER me and invited them to his desk. I wheeled around, but I got in his eye sight first, then walked out. I would not allow Chris Carter to wait on him if he were the only rep that could help me! I can’t wait to close my account. Because I was treated like I was invisible, that was the nail in the coffin for me!
