1 /5 Ashley S: My vehicle was hit by a person insured with this company. They accepted 100% fault, stated they would pay for it. I thought it was simple as that. Then the adjuster went on vacation, Michael, and another man called. He said we’re only paying 80% because you already had a few scratches the front of the bumper. I explained going in and out of my driveway caused the paint to peel at the bottom of my vehicle and this unacceptable. They can chip that paint off the front of the bumper; I don’t mind. Then I didn’t hear from anyone for a week. Finally, I sent and email and Michel L called back. He was really hyped with getting things rolling again; it’s been over a month. After I told him what the other adjuster said, he said she would speak with his manager but I haven’t heard from anyone. I went and checked the mail, and they sent me a check for 80% of the damages. I asked them in the beginning to pay the body shop directly.
Before this incident, I was sooo close to switching my insurance to them. I’m happy this happened because I will NOT switch with them and make it my mission to let others know about the horrible service I’m receiving.
Will update once it’s finished! Maybe tomorrow the insurance company will call.
