Our mortgage company sold our loan to another company within 4 years, but made them aware so they know where to send the invoice for payment from our escrow. They have always been great, however, Hurricane Helena made the real crook to come out of farm bureau. Every November, farm bureau would always send the invoice to the mortgage company because it was due around the 23 or so. In December, our mortgage company called and stated that we needed to have insurance on our home by the end of the month or else they would find an agent. Im like we have farm bureau. The agent informed me that we indeed do not have farm bureau and that our policy had been canceled. I spoke with my agent Mr dyches. He informed me that our coverage was lapsed for non-payment. I found out from the mortgage company that an invoice was never sent from farm bureau for payment at all in the month of November. When I told mr dyches about this he said once I submit pictures of my house, I could have insurance reinstated. I sent the pictures but ,of course, there are leaves and tree limbs everywhere. The agent told me that once we clean up the mess from the roof and gutters, they would be happy to reinstate my policy. That was so dirty. I didnt even have damages to my home, nor was I going to file a claim for the tree because my cousin and his daddy took care of that for me. Farm bureau has definitely lost my business forever.
