1 /5 Deb Ridings: We have been loyal banking customers at the original Mountain Valley Community Bank for twenty years. We have 4 accounts with them. In less than a few years, MVCB sold out to Piedmont Bank Corp, which has now sold out to United Bank Shares. We are not interested in having our routing numbers, account numbers etc, fee schedules changing to include new charges, and to have to purchase all new checks for four accounts! We will be moving our accounts and business as of next week, the first week of March, 2025. There was zero notice given to us as a customer about this second buyout, until it had happened. Were done with whatever they want to call themselves this month. The changes being made only appeal to the stockholders of the new bank, evidently. :-(
