1 /5 Marcy Wimbush: I have enjoyed banking with Delta until today. They locked my debit card, and I’m not really sure why, but when I called about it they basically told me I was out of luck until regular business hours (it’s Sunday morning). This is crazy to me. When I called, I sat on hold being transferred from one representative to another, who gave me conflicting information, then waited about 25 more minutes for a supervisor. They said they don’t have the authority to unblock cards. My thing is, I’m all for protecting people’s money/accounts, but you have to have a way to unblock cards at all times as well once they verify it’s not fraud. In light of this situation I will unfortunately be switching the main bank I use, because it is beyond inconvenient.
