Community Bank of Pickens County - Jasper (GA)

1 /5 Ian Brindle: Customer service at this bank is atrocious. Call in to get issues resolved regarding multiple charges on an account and Im told that I should manage my money better and that maybe a printout would help me in understanding how Ive spent my own funds. Then Im hung up on not once but twice. Wouldnt recommend this bank to anyone and would recommend they get someone in bookkeeping who actually cares and wont act condescending and like theyre the highest and mightiest person alive.

4 /5 M Katherine: Got a construction loan here. The application process was easy and approval was very quick and efficient. Minus one star on their online platform. Their website is not as sleek as the bigger banks - which is expected since this is a small town institution. But they could do better. Their web online interface reminds me of banks in the early 2000s. Hopefully their security is up to snuff. Overall decent bank and customer service is good. Folks Ive spoken to on the phone are always friendly and helpful.

5 /5 Linda Mciver: Kassidi Weaver did an awesome job for us today! Only took her 10 minutes to fill out the form necessary to transfer our account to our trust in the event of our deaths. Took much longer to do the same thing at our other banking facilities. Thank you Kassidi!

1 /5 Shelby Jackson: I reached out to this bank about a construction loan June 2021. After filling out my application and providing required documents, Lindsay Jones informed me due to three late CC payments, they couldnt offer a loan, but if I could show proof that information was invalid to let her know. I called the CC company, showed them where I had made payments on time, and had all 3 late payments cleared from my credit history. I contacted the bank again, provided a letter from the CC company showing that the 3 payments had been deleted, and was told that they were having a meeting that Wednesday and would let me know. MONTHS went by of contacting the loan officer each week, and I was told the same thing, "no decision made" and "a meeting this week to discuss." I was never told yes. I was never told no. The last communication I had was another, "I will let you know after the meeting Wednesday afternoon." In September (yes, September,) I was able to secure a construction loan from another bank without any issue whatsoever and a stellar rate. I wish this bank had the professionalism to provide someone with a yes or no instead of baiting them along with unanswered inquiries. Would not recommend for any type of financing if you value professionalism and honest communication.

1 /5 Sara And Chad Brown: Same rules dont apply to everyone. Feels like they look you up and down before deciding whether youre worthy to make a deposit or withdrawal. Sometimes I would be able to go and perform a transaction no problem, then go back the next week to do the same thing and they tell me thats against policy. Then my husband go in and try to do the same thing and they let him no problem. Will never bank with them again.
