1 /5 F Z: The Fraud Alert Program is very annoying...It seems like every 2 months I have suspicious charges on my account. This bank used to call and try to resolve things quickly but not any more. The last 2-3 times my card just get cut off with no word from them. My card be declining all over the place. When, I gave them a call today for this mess they told me it was an "inside job" and someone would call me...I had to call back what that meant...The staff talking about I have suspicious charges on my account. I look at my account just about every day online if not more than once...I initially called them at 10:11am. They eventually called at 10:40am. I couldnt get gas in my vehicle because of this...Luckily, I wasnt on E...

1 /5 Why You worried: If I could give it zero stars, I would. I’ve had a terrible experience with CGR Credit Union in Milledgeville. When I opened my account, I wasn’t given any of the basic materials or account information I needed. Then, my check was placed on an 11-day hold instead of the 10 days I was told, with funds only becoming available at 11:59 PM on the 11th day. This lack of communication caused late fees on bills I expected to pay on time. On top of that, starting this account resulted in a hard inquiry on my credit, which was never disclosed beforehand. When I visited the branch to address these issues, the materials they finally gave me seemed inconsistent and incomplete compared to other financial institutions. I’ll be closing my account after handling my affairs. This branch has demonstrated poor customer service and a lack of professionalism. I cannot recommend CGR Credit Union based on this experience.
