Alan Flassig Just opened a new account and acquired a safety deposit box in the McCaysville branch of United Community Bank and we couldn’t be more pleased. All the employees we spoke with were extremely nice and welcoming. Emilee Hawkins assisted us with the paperwork needed to open our account and was just wonderful. I can’t say enough good things about how professional and nice Emilee treated us. Thank you!

Darlene Kirby I have always been pleased with this Credit Union until recently. After my surgery I signed up for the Bill pay thinking I was going to need to use it to pay one of my bills since I dont have checks with ACU. Turns out I didnt use it and never have. I noticed for the last 3 months that ACU has charged me $5.00 for bill pay fee. I called to inquire as to why the charges? I was told that since I didnt use the service I am charged. If I use the service its free and they gave me 3 months free. What?? This policy sounds backward to me. I had them deactivate the bill pay services. I have never experienced this with a bank. Shame on me for not researching the information about the bill pay services. The bill pay service at my previous financial institution was always free no matter if you used it or not. ACU you will lose customers practicing this kind of business.

Gina Rios The staff is wonderful. But if Im being completely honest, the fact that the ATM NEVER works is extremely inconvenient. I expect this from time to time, but for days on end, and all weekend long when the bank is closed? And this is the case month after month. Ive had to drive to other counties to take out the amounts Ive needed 3 separate times just in the past few weeks because the amount was too much to go get cash back at a store. And I shouldnt have to keep buying stuff at a store when I need cash. Its getting ridiculous. Everything else about this bank I love. Id hate to have to close my personal and business accounts over ATM issues.

Meka Battle Takes an act of Congress to get this removed from your credit report. Even after 7 years. TERRIBLE customer service. Deserves 0 stars
