1 /5 Nicole King: Owning a trucking company requires trust in a lot of different entities to assist in handling your business. Dont trust this one! After being good customers for a year, when it came time for our renewal, not only was it handled improperly, but, seems as if we were being strong-armed into paying outrageous premiums! The evening before our renewal was due to be bound, I received a call 9 minutes before closing with a "take it or leave it"quote! Anyone in trucking knows this can truly hurt your business! Filings have to be in place for those trucks to move, and AIS is not the agency to trust to secure prompt, timely, and cost efficient service! All I received was a bunch of empty apologies, with no regard how there lack of regard for our business hurt us, nor were they willing to take responsibility for their sloppy work! In trucking, a carrier has to be able to TRUST the insurance agent they deal with for security, peace of mind and reliability! They started off hiding clauses in our policy that cost us money in the beginning and ended up not being able to hide the fact that they are NOT efficient, reliable agents to work with! SAVE yourself and your company a tremendous headache and seek insurance ELSEWHERE!!!
