When our previous insurance company boosted our premiums $1000 a year I was appalled. Their reason: "Everyones insurance went up this year." That is when I went to Allstate. They gave me the same insurance that I had for $1003 less than my original company.

Of course, our homeowners insurance then almost tripled our premium and then dropped us the next year.
