1 /5 Larresha Parker: I was approved for the loan, I did everything on my part but I ended up declining the loan because of the staff was very unprofessional and smirks I got. It was immature how one of the staff members acted towards me. The original person who worked on my loan was nice at the beginning but once, I return with document she needed, another staff help me, she was unprofessional and rude. Seems like she didn’t take her job seriously, she was questioning me about the loan. I had already finished my loan paperwork, just needed one more document, while the original staff worker was present and available to help, she did not respond. I’ve been doing business with OneMain since their name was spring leaf financial, it’s sad when the staff are not professional enough to do their job.

1 /5 Michael Elder: I was trying to consolidate around 20k in credit card debt. They did a soft pull on my credit and I was told in writing a qualified for a loan with a lower monthly payment. I called back and was told they needed to do another soft pull. Afterwards, they said I did qualify for that loan ( although nothing had changed) and that my only option was a program that required me to default on all my credit cards payments. This naturally brought up more questions. At this point the rep hung up on me once she sensed I wasn’t going to take the loan. I called back annoyed but calm to explain the situation. The second rep would not provide his name and hung up on me a second time. This company will hold your debt over head and use fear as a motivator to bait and switch whatever product they’re pushing. DO NOT use this company.
