1 /5 Lori stewart Jernigan: Don’t waste your time with this company. My very dear friend took a ring here to be sized and was told it would be ready by a certain date. She goes to pick it up and the owner was a no show and not answering the phone. After 2 days of voicemails and she called me back and had the wrong name and the ring was not even there. It was for a proposal and the owner told us to give the soon to be fiancée a picture of the ring and wanted to speak to the soon to be fiancée. Even offered to give them a different ring to use. Very very unprofessional. Now she has turned off her voicemail so you can’t leave a message.

5 /5 savmefrm myslf: If you are hurting for cash, or in a hurry because your life is important. Dont come here. But if you want an amazing experience, purchasing or selling, the knowledge of the owner is worth shopping alone. Prices are fair, and selling is worth the appraisal.

I had a rare one of a kind belt buckle silver with rubys I won in horse competition I put on consignment only to be told by people I had never seen working there that the owner was unavailable and the have never seen or heard of me or my buckle they proudly displayed for several months and after it not selling I was picking it up!!! Pissed off doesnt even come close to what big hadbto say to these people and the owner who was never in avaliable or returned my call..They sure were happy to take it in and display it... I also took a bracket there they appraised and it was fake..So due your homework and I would never purchase or sell there again..My mom also purchases lots of jewelry from them and then after they had no clue where my 450$ belt buckle was nor the appraisal they did on it.Theifs..Dont no how they have stayed in business as I am a local resident my whole life.. Third generation jewelers in Eustis the most honest people only place I use.

1 /5 Steve Adams: Took 1-ounce GOLD eagles to Mount Dora Gold Exchange and they offered me $1,000.00 less than the spot price. I know the exchange requires a premium so the dealer can make their cut, (typically .96 of the spot price) but I consider that absolute known deception. Someone that may not have known better would have lost thousands of dollars.

My husband gave me this ring on our 15th anniversary which symbolized a new beginning in our marriage. 3 years ago I went to the place I purchased it for its annual checkup. They told me that all 5 diamonds were loose and I should not even wear it until I gave them $475 to secure them. In the box it went until we could see spending the extra cash. I picked up an imitation ring to function as my wedding ring. Recently we sensed it was time to get my ring back on my hand and thought it best to find a local private jeweler, The Gold Exchange downtown Mount Dora. When I went to pick it up today, I learned that it just needed a bit of tightening and polishing. The charge?? Here I had not enjoyed my beautiful symbol for 3 years. I was so overjoyed to see my beautiful ring on my finger I broke into tears. The fabulous lady who served us appreciated the meaning and joined me in celebration. We have found our new jeweler!
