1 /5 William Titus: Terrible experience. Do not recommend. Only spoke with John Gordon the day he reached out with a sales call and the day he collected the money from MY customer. It has been three months since I have received any information regarding the payment that was collected. I was told I would receive the check within 60 days after collection. Every time I call I am told that John Gordon is in a meeting, hes at lunch, he hasnt arrived yet. I am pretty sure I will have to send this collection agency to collections. I am writing this review so that no one else has to deal with the stress I am going through.

1 /5 Samantha Bailey: Businesses beware if this company calls you. Not sure how legit they are, however, their tactics are almost scam worthy. They call small businesses up asking if they have unpaid invoices and viciously attack the payee. Susan Gordon not only spoke aggressively, she also threatened my staff including myself claiming that she wrote a letter to the president of the company and I will be getting fired…well seeing that I am president, I cannot get fired. She does not explain who or what the company does and expects that you give her your credit card number and/or routing/account number. I’m sure she’s getting a certain percentage off of each invoice to be paid. They are rude, deceitful and shouldn’t be in business.

5 /5 jay thomas: John Gordon contacted me a little over a week ago to let me know that they received a partial payment on an account that was rather recent however the company has been dodging us for months, this was odd because up until completion of the job "fire station in Oceola County" we would have daily conversations with them. We have been in business for over 30 yrs and I can only remember having a collection issue once, needless to say I was quite apprehensive to hiring a collection agency but at this point I have run out of options. In any event we received the first portion of the payment in the mail this morning and we are very grateful for your services. I know that people seldomly take the time to honor great behavior thats why I felt the need to do so. Your company has made believers out of me. If I ever run into another situation like this youll be the first that I call.

1 /5 A L CESSPOOL SAFETY: This company is a bunch of crooks. They will not remit payment on the accounts they collect on. In other words, you give them an account to collect on, they collect and keep the money. Gonna have to sue. Response to GT response No need for the feigned phony responses. To be clear, we received only 1 direct payment from a client that was referred to Gordon Thomas and whether or not that payment was related to their collection efforts is suspect since the client did not make reference to their efforts. However, in the interest of fairness, we sent Gordon Thomas a commission check anyway within 24 hours. We are going to sue them and report the issues to the FL AG.

1 /5 Megan Karus: I had been receiving calls from this company on nearly a weekly basis, asking if my company had any overdue accounts. The first few times they called I told them we did not and then the next time they called I tried to ask to be taken off their calling list, but before I could even finish my sentence the woman inturupted with, "hunny, hunny, you dont understand, we dont have a list" and I responded by saying I would appreciate not receiving these calls because all our accounts are very good about paying on time, but I didnt get to finish because she hung up on me! I didnt receive any calls for about two weeks, but then today they appeared on my caller ID. It was a different woman asking about past due accounts and immediately I asked to be taken off their list and again I was rudely told they dont have a calling list and hung up on for a second time! I dont know where the employees of this company learned about cold calling, but Im pretty sure hanging up on potential customers is never a good tactic. Ive never actually worked with this company, but from the way I was treated on the phone I wouldnt trust them at all!
