This wasn’t just any coin, it’s a family heirloom that was sewn into my great-grandmother’s sweater when she escaped Yugoslavia during the war. My grandmother had a bezel made for it, but I always felt that the original bezel took away from the beauty of the coin. When I brought it to Govind & Sons, they were able to use the same gold and recreate a new bezel that not only protected the coin better but also let its beauty truly shine. I was ecstatic.
