Initially, in my shattered state, I found her directness, assertiveness, and criticism to be a bit harsh. Yet, as I continued to work with her, I realized it was her technique that forced me to stand firm, to be assertive, to get organized, and gave me the courage to face my fears. I found her to be authentic , communicative, and responsive to my concerns throughout the process. With the integrity of a nurse and the skepticism of an attorney wrapped into a tiny 5 ft frame, Ms. Caldwell is a force to be reckoned with. At this point, I do not know how my case will turn out - but I do know that her first priority was to get our son the help he needed and I know that she will continue to do whatever it takes to protect his best interests. I had talked my now ex spouse to try marriage counseling with me. But unfortunately, he walked out. He was and still in denial about his substance addiction. Even though it’s now considered “Medical”, it was the downfall of our marriage. Thank the Lord for Carol’s background. She is well versed in so many different areas of the law it is hard to believe that she actually specialises in family law alone. Actually I should not say that , what I meant to say was that I needed a family law attorney and I needed someone who is not afraid to take care of business and get the best possible outcome for me.
