5 /5 Kathleen Watson: After buying a few diamond pieces at auction, I began a search for a local gemologist who could confirm the jewelry was what it claimed to be. I chose John Shulla based on his business reviews, and I’m so glad I did. He is professional, personable, and very good at what he does. Everything he told me regarding my jewelry was right in line with what the seller said. He, also, gave me some excellent recommendations when I mentioned wanting to have some pieces reset, and he thoroughly explained the pro and cons of the people he was recommending & the process of what I wanted done. I highly recommend Mr. Shulla for all of your appraisal needs.

5 /5 Matthew Weaver: I was very happy with everything John Shula did for me. From the first phone call he was very nice and after many questions he knew exactly what I wanted. Once he got in the options for me I picked the one I liked and it was much more than I expected. He found exactly what I wanted and I was able to get way more than I thought at a very good price. 3 /5 James Clarke: John seems like a very nice guy. I brought my ring there to which I had bought 30 years ago. It was represented to me as a 1.75 marquis diamond VVS one G color John wanted to take it out of the setting to giving me a more accurate view but I was against it because I was taking the risk if it was broken or chipped so he evaluating it as a 1.60 VVS two and color l to which I believe was way over the top on the conservative side. He did verify that it was a real diamond, but I do not feel he gave me an accurate assessment of what the time it was really worth.

Working with John is far easier and better than any Big Box jewelry store. He made a stunning engagement ring for my now fiance, and she loves it! We are super happy with the results.
