1 /5 Lucy Aleksa: Thankfully I never had to use this renters insurance. BUT I wasnt aware that they do auto-renewals (no one bothered to inform me about it when I got my renters insurance), it also turns out I was never sent the proper copy of a policy. The paperwork I got from them, as it turns out didnt even have the new policy number on it. And when I reached out to cancel, I was given a suspicious document with policy number Ive never seen before and not stating anywhere that this is a cancellation of the current policy. I was very hesitant to sign it because it looked like scam. The proper document should include necessary language and policy information for the client to sign, there should be no concern or confusion.
Another thing was I was pressed to give them my new address before they proceed with cancellation, they spent days emailing back asking for new address before they can proceed - I do NOT have responsibility to give it to them, yet they were very persistent and they delayed the process until I made it clear I will not provide it.
All these back and fourth conversions were a huge waste of time and energy for me.
Overall, because of the difficulty in their processes and lack of clarity in their documentation, I will not use them again.
