1 /5 M. D.: I’m not sure exactly who’s responsible for some of my issues. Shadi seems to know his stuff but the people that has worked there maybe not. I’ve been told I was getting a $1600 refund by his staff. I said impossible check with Shadi. Ended up owing money as I expected. Had a IRA disbursement and the wrong forms used. Returns not done in time costing me resulting in penalties. I had to have multiple years of taxes amended as the result of SHADI’s errors. I had paid Shadi over $2000 for these returns HR block quoted me $160ea to later amend. I decided to use another tax and legal firm to amend for $300ea. I had my two years taxes basically redone for a fraction of what Shadi charged me to do one. I reached out to Shadi eventually. He was arrogant and brushed me off. Shadi did my taxes at very high costs for years and when I spoke of that he only remembered a few years. He did my wife’s taxes too at a very high cost. HR block is a fraction of his cost for same results. I decided to pay a little more than HR now but still 1/4 of the cost Shadi has charged. I was late bringing my forms to Shadi once and accept the results of that. That was not the issue here. The tax law changes but I assure you, that did not play any role here as well. I use a much bigger firm that explained his work and mistakes. Very reputable company handling payroll and legal matters for an entire city. HR Block offered the same.
