5 /5 Bruce Howell: I bought my first home on Long Island in 1974 when I first married and became a father. With no history or experience with Insurance, I signed on with State Farm for both my Homeowners and Automobile insurance. Over the years, my insurance needs changed often as my family and I followed our career paths throughout our adulthood. While I maintained my loyalty with State Farm all these years, it wasnt until 2016 when refinancing my home here in Highlands County offered exceptional savings under a newly structured VA Re-fi Mortgage offering which I simply couldnt resist. Consequently, during this process my loan agent advised me that my coverage with State Farm was by most standards overpriced by approximately $2300.00 each year. H suggested that rather than continuing to pay the $3,500.00 annual premium under State farm, he suggested I speak with the folks at Heacock Insurancce Goup in Sebring where he felt I could likely find a more suitable policy costing under $1,200.00 a year! IMAGINE THAT! And so it was to be.

Ironically, during all the years while covered under State Farm, I never had a claim for damages or loss associated with my home owners coverage. Unfortunately, since my coverage began with Heacock Incurance, (TOWER HILL INSURANCE) during the first year I had a water line burst within the outer wall of my home flooding my 4 rooms within my home. Also, when hurricane IRMA struck Highlands County, my roof sustain considerable damage requiring the entire roof be replaced. Deep inside, I felt terrible. To me, this was seemingly no way to start a new business relationship. However, I want everyone to know that each claim was received and processed by the wonderful folks at Heacock Insurance and Tower Hill Insurance in a most caring and professional manner. In each case, the claims settled quickly and efficiently. I am indeed grateful to have found a new home with some pretty wonderful people looking after me. Only now can I sincerely boast that "like a good neighbor" HEACOCK INSURANCE is really there!
