1 /5 Indira Lightbourne Rampersad: Management doesn’t even deserve 1 star he is so Awful and heartless. I bought a Toshiba Air Conditioner on 7/10/25 for $150. Called the store back on 7/11/25 to let them know that the A/C was not working properly they said to come back in and they will switch it out because they had 3 in stock We drove back to Capital Pawn in Okeechobee which was a 2 hour drive just for the manager to tell us we will have to pay an additional $125 to switch the AC. My thoughts was this man has to be crazy. And to top it off I asked to use the bathroom they said it’s for employees only but I can go to Wawa which is a 5 minutes walk. We left went to Wawa came back 10 minutes the manager said he cut the cord and Threw the AC in the dumpster but we can go and get it. This is not right to treat people like animals. Do they have a corporate office? Because I will never go back there.

Capital Pawn is the best pawn shop I have ever been to.the customer service is outstanding,the store is always clean and in order, and all you got to do is ask and they will try there best to get you what you need!

1 /5 minnayy s: Brought two 22k bangles into capitol pawn to see how much they would give me for them and the first person (Andrea) to test them confirmed it was 22k and the white guy with glasses checked it again came back and told me it wasn’t not 22k and that he would be willing to give me the 18k price. I’ve taken those bangles to wolf gang, queen of pawn & other reputable pawn shops to get a price and not one has said it was anything less than 22k. Capitol pawn was the only one saying it was 18k. As he was testing my bangles he scrapped the hell out of it trying to prove he was right. Just be aware this is NOT a honest place to go for fine jewelry. I’ve never had a problem with any of my other pieces I’ve taken to this place when the long brown haired lady was there.

1 /5 Mary H: This pawn shop needs to take professionalism more seriously. On multiple occasions, the woman working there has acted in an inappropriate, overly flirty, and sexual manner toward customers. This behavior is unprofessional, uncomfortable, and completely unacceptable in a business setting. Customers come here to conduct business, not to be subjected to inappropriate advances. Until management addresses this and ensures that staff interact with customers respectfully and professionally, I cannot recommend this place.
