Sapp Michael (MikePlaysIt) The only pawn shop I would ever go to. Everywhere else you will simply encounter the typical abrasive "pawn shop guy", but not here. They are actually extremely respectful, and if you cant come to a price that you both agree on they dont act as if you just kicked sand in their face. The owner and the workers are also really great people and they have good morals, unlike some that you come across in pawn shops....And just a bit of extra information, and what some people dont ever seem to understand, when you operate a business that essentially buys products to resell them (if necessary in the case of pawns), you CANT go offering a "great" buy price on an item right up front. You always make the lowest offer and work from there. Not to mention its not as if when you sell them your item, the second you walk out the door they are able to sell it off to someone else and be done with it. They have to have room for it or they have to display it, they turn into the salesman and it could be the longest time until it gets sold again, if ever. Not to mention some people just think that their items have WAY more value than they do. "I payed 500 for such and such new! Why cant you give me 400?!".. Really? Someone cant sell a used item from the price they go for new. At most their going to be able to sell it for half or as much as 3/4 MAYBE if they are super lucky. THATS why places only offer you $150-$200 on something that you paid $500 for... It just bugs me SO much to see people give pawn shops and stores low ratings because they tried getting the item for a low price... Anyways, now that Im done with my rant Ill conclude my review.

Carol Ann I have been to Colonial Pawn and Jewelry for many years and trust them for honesty and fair prices. Al does the jewelry repairs and any other requests that you may need and is a miracle worker with jewelry!! He is the absolute best!! Andy, Stacy and the entire staff are incredible, I truly cannot say enough! I have since moved to Tennessee and had to have a repair done on my wedding ring and took it to a jewelry in Tennessee and they cracked my ring! Distraught... I called Al frantically and he said I can fix it, so my husband and I came from Tennessee to have Al fix my ring ... OMG, Al went above and beyond putting me first to fix my ring and it came out beautiful.. words cannot say how happy I am! Thank you truly and truly Al for helping me! Andy and Stacy, thank you truly for all of your help with the repair, you all are such wonderful people who take care of their customers and it shows! I just cannot say enough thank yous for what you did for me. If I have any other repairs I will be coming back to Florida to have them fixed. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Colonial Pawn and Jewelry... you honestly will be so happy with their service and professional staff, they truly make you feel welcome!

Marisa Malek I am relatively new to the area and needed to find a good place for a few jewelry repairs. I saw a google review for Paul and decided to go see him. I am SO a happy that I did! He is friendly, reliable and warm with his customers. He also explained what he was doing with the jewelry as he was doing it which was entertaining. He fixed one of my items right when I walked in and the other item only took a couple hours. Then he cleaned both items and they both look incredible, like new! Photos don’t do the jewelry justice! Highly recommend Paul for any jewelry repairs and beyond.

David Meyers My girlfriend had a custom ring that was her late grandmothers. It was custom designed in Detroit in the 40s. We brought it to Mark to show him the design because Laurel always loved her grandmothers ring. This design is based on her grandmothers ring but in white gold. We chose a 2.1 karat diamond for the center setting and the baguettes are from her grandmothers ring. The experience was world class. We were both thrilled with how the ring came out. I surprised her with it on her birthday, and she is now my fiance. Mark and his team are amazing at what they do, and we will always go to Mark Lauren when we want something shiney and amazing.
