1 /5 Melinda Lockhart: So I called in to change my address and let them know that I have a garage now and still will be commuting to work and they added $55 more dollars to my premium. My car is a 2011 Infinity, a 12 yr old car, in great condition, low mileage and I have a clean driving record with class B. Im already getting messed over for $166 full coverage and they add more instead of lowering and they tell me because of so many other claims in the area that I moved to. So because I dont live in the suburbs/rural areas its going up? I will NEVER recommend no one else to get this insurance, its definitely not a good company for the AARP community and should be investigated.

1 /5 Jeff Cullen: This insurance company is shady to the core… Unscrupulous, misleading, and downright dirty are words that I can use to describe my feelings for how this company dealt with a claim… I went to five different shops to get estimates which ranged from $8000 to $15,000 after their internal estimate based on pics... they didnt even send someone to look at the damage... their insurance adjuster refused to pay any more than $2588!!! Added on top of my $1000 deductible which basically leaves me in the lurch for over $10,000 if I want the vehicle repaired properly!!! Its a Collector vehicle very sought after and it was in pristine condition. It took me forever to find this exact model in this colour with low miles and with all the bells and whistles I was looking for. Now Im faced with having to get an attorney to sue these "people" Every shop I went to laughed at their estimate, saying you cant even paint the vehicle for that. Im going to report them to the insurance board and seek out an attorney. STAY AWAY

2 /5 Rachel Lane: For my car insurance coverage. The Hartford ranks at the top of my list for no customer loyalty and complete dissatisfaction! They have a very nice upfront manner, however when you really need them, they are NOT there for you. If the Hartford feels that your claim is done, they will no longer return your phone calls or assist you to get any outstanding problems resolved. I have been left BY THEM in a situation that I have to fight to get my own reimbursement (that they promised me they would get for me) and now, instead of keeping their promise, they just dont return my phone calls. I have been sent to 3 different "supervisors" NONE of which have ever returned my phone calls. This is a horrible company to deal with now. and they had the nerve to send me a policy to buy for another year of coverage! You can forget that! I am going back to Statefarm, they might be more expensive, but they have NEVER treated me like my needs werent their priority!
