Yasmin Barson AVOID MERCURY INSURANCE AT ALL COSTS. I have been searching for auto insurance for only a couple days now and Mercury Insurance somehow acquired my personal contact information (home phone, mobile and email), and went as far as to sell my information to other agents and companies who have been contacting me nonstop. I have never been more appalled by a business.

GEDER GEDER In Santa Clara, Low Cost Auto Insurance Agency lived up to their name. They gave me a cheap auto insurance plan that covered everything I needed. I was impressed with their friendly service and how easy they made the process. Great experience!

Renee Riedel We have been with Farmers Insurance for 24 years. We have all our automobiles and home owners insurance covered by Farmers. Joe Angelini and his staff are very efficient. We are impressed with their customer service. If we call or email they contact us the same day.

AI M Patrick is a great salesperson: able to chit-chat to death, but doesnt deliver. The premiums of the policies were higher than promised, his responses delayed — there was always "something else keeping him busy" (are we all not busy?) — and his explanations were gibberish — hes unable to write coherent sentences. Fortunately, within a month I made the decision to cut him and go back to my previous insurance broker, who had been great except more expensive (in appearance). Im very happy to have ended the relationship with Patrick and the extra money is well worth it. The kicker and the reason that led me to post this review? I asked him for the status of my car policy on Feb. 17; as of today he had not responded, so I asked again. His response was "please call travelers for billing or status on these things, we do not handle billing/refunds. -P". I called and the response was that he had not cancelled my car policy; the others had been cancelled but not that one. Also, they told me to go back to my agent, but when they saw I was very angry, they decided to help me directly. And they did.
