Martin Taleisnik stood out immediately with his professionalism, empathy, and clear communication. He practiced what I would describe as "empathetic lawyering"—taking time to understand the emotional toll legal matters can have on families, while still providing honest, realistic expectations about the outcome. I especially appreciated that he respected my input and made me feel included in the process. Due to unexpected circumstances, our case was transitioned to Marco Aguiar. Marco impressed us with his knowledge, patience, and ability to explain legal concepts in a way that felt approachable and reassuring. His calm demeanor and willingness to answer questions helped ease a lot of our anxiety during an uncertain time. Shortly before the case went to court, Marco resigned, and we began working with Adam Awad. However, his communication style was more direct and at times felt dismissive when I attempted to ask questions or offer input. While his approach may work for some, it was a bit difficult to adjust to after the openness we had previously experienced. Overall, we are thankful for the support we received from Sawl Law Group. The majority of our experience was positive, and we appreciate the efforts of everyone who helped us navigate a very personal and difficult legal matter.
