1 /5 julio aguayo: Working with Patrick was an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience. He was deceptive, unassertive, and appeared intimidated by the opposing attorney — to the point where he recommended I agree to $3,500 a month in child and spousal support, despite my clear financial situation. After doing the calculations myself and presenting five possible scenarios, the court ultimately ruled support to be $1,800. Yet Patrick pushed for nearly double that amount, showing either a lack of effort or fear of confrontation.
What made matters worse was his unprofessional behavior — at one point, he even screamed at me over the phone, despite me never having disrespected him or raised my voice. I had to ask him to calm down, which felt like a complete role reversal. I was treated like an inconvenience, not a client.
I also found myself constantly calling for updates due to their lack of communication, only to be charged absurd amounts for phone calls that were a direct result of their own inaction. As an active duty Marine with 19 years of service, this added stress was completely unacceptable. I was honest and transparent throughout the process, but I was left to face the consequences of trusting someone who clearly didn’t have my best interests in mind.
The only useful thing this law office accomplished was securing a bifurcation in my divorce — everything else, I’ve had to do better on my own. I strongly do not recommend this attorney or law firm to anyone going through a difficult legal matter. You deserve someone who will fight for you — not fold under pressure. If they want to write a comment after I post this I can provide proof. Again, I strongly recommend you find another law firm.
