Samuel Berry The Assistant Branch Manager, Evelyn Ponce made my experience better than any bank Ive ever had an account with and any representative at ANY bank I had to communicate with. Shes definitely a leader for a reason and went way above and beyond to explain the checking account I recently opened up and has planned for me to come in on another day to give me a more personalized experience since I was a walk-in and the branch at the Antioch office off of Somersville Rd was very busy. I know most enjoy giving negative feedback since customers who typically walk out happy dont think they need to write any type of review but the attention and customer service I was given at that branch, not only from Evelyn, but even the tellers was something that made me feel so welcome and excited to be a new customer of Bank of the West. They were ALL extremely kind and personable and I hope they receive recognition for everything theyve been through the last couple of years. BRAVO to everyone but ESPECIALLY Evelyn Ponce!

Deirdre Jones I applied for a small loan one morning, didnt find out if I was approved or not until later the following morning. It was supposed to be a quick process. After they pulled my credit, they realized that GI Bill housing allowance doesnt count as guaranteed income. Why they couldnt tell me that before pulling my credit upsets me a little, otherwise I wouldnt have applied and hurt my credit. What job is guaranteed anyway? Sure I might get a low GPA and have to pay it back, but someone on a job can make a simple mistake and get fired. It makes no sense to me and I wasted so much time. I guess this will help anyone else in my position. The staff were pretty friendly overall despite the flawed policies.
