She helped me find the right plan even when it didnt benefit her—e.g., she gave me links to enroll in VSP and Delta as I needed those networks, but they dont sell through agents. She was professional and responsive, and Id highly recommend her.

I reached out to Jen Barstow at Ross Valley Insurance based on her great Yelp reviews. Im so glad I did. First, I didnt know that brokers were available to provide services to people like me - just looking for personal medical insurance. Whats more, there is no charge to me but the various insurance companies pay her for her services. Jen was kind and caring, and asked all the right questions in order to design a package of possible plans customized to my needs. She was easily available by phone and fielded all my questions with thorough, easy-to-understand answers. It felt like I was talking to a friend rather than struggling to navigate through a bunch of legalese and insurance-speak on-line. I would not hesitate to use her services again or recommend her to my friends. I mean, why not? She was wonderful to work with, and she was free to me, and she saved me from huge headaches!

I had some difficulties with Covered California after moving to the area in 2018 and she made everything very simple and straightforward. I highly recommend reaching out to her if you need help with insurance!!

On top of her professionalism, she is calm, super patient, and soooo helpful when it comes to all things health insurance. Besides helping me zero in on the best program for my family (cost, coverage, deductibles), she has also gone back to my providers for billing errors and provider mistakes. I am so thankful to have Sue on my side; shes a God-send.
