1 /5 RJ Ramirez: !!!ASK FOR DIMOND CERTIFICATION!!!!!
7/26/25
I went into this jewelry store to buy an engagement ring that seemed perfect—good price, good quality. However, things quickly took a turn. When I was about to purchase the ring, I asked for the GIA certification to confirm the quality. They gave me the runaround, claiming they wouldn’t be able to provide it for a couple of days or weeks.
Then, I asked for documentation stating the quality of the ring, but they refused to provide anything. Instead, they only offered a 30-day return policy in case I didn’t like it. That felt like a red flag to me.
I continued to question them, and after some back and forth, the manager came forward and admitted that the ring I was looking at had been mis-labeled with a different tag, meaning it was actually a lower-quality ring than advertised. If I hadn’t asked for the GIA certification, I would have unknowingly bought a ring of much lower quality at a much higher price. No apology or effort was made to make things right. They simply asked if I still wanted it , I said no. …. “Ok” was there answer.
I left feeling deceived and left questioning there credibility …will not be returning.
