5 /5 Boosh Yee: My girlfriend and I were just going into look at rings since it was near by where we were doing errands. Well we had not set foot in another jewelry store in Bakersfield AND NOW we will not have to after visiting Robson Jewelers. The jeweler himself and the sales lady were extremely friendly and helpful!! PLUS my girlfriend has been looking at other sites on line and nothing even compares to Robsons awesome selection online and the process to make it your own. They seriously have the BEST SELECTION from vintage to newer styles. We will definitely be sticking with Robson Jewelers from now on!!! :)

1 /5 Lauren T: Would give zero stars if I could. My husband bought my engagement ring here. The main stone is a “sapphire”, I’ve had a close family friend (who is a jeweler for 20 plus years) take a look and they suggested I ask for the certificate because it has acquired scratches and chips on the face of the stone. A Sapphire is a 9 on the hardness scale, second to diamonds, it should not scratch from daily wear. I went back to this jeweler to inquire about a certificate and was rudely told that there are not certificates given. If certificates of authenticity aren’t given, how can costumers insure their jewelry? When I had brought my ring in to be sized, I asked if I could have an alteration of the band. I was told it wasn’t possible, however, the family friend jeweler told me it was an easy job. You can also see where the ring was sized, the metal is a different color. To add insult to injury, the store and the man helping us smelled heavily of cigarettes; which was off putting when having to interact with him in close quarters. One star for the adorable Pomeranian in the shop, the only pleasant experience at this store.

1 /5 Paola Hernandez: It has been 6 years since i have stepped foot in this place. What a horrifying experience. Sadly, my husband posted about our visit and his review is under “reviews not recommended”. Long story short: one of the owners yelled at us and told us that we live in a small world and to see ourselves out because we requested a refund for a DEFECTIVE ring he sold us. The diamonds from my ring (that was DAYS old) kept falling off— a total of 4 times. 3 of those times I had not even worn the ring. He insulted us, made us feel small, humiliated my husband, scared me to the point of me leaving the store in tears. Truth be told, I felt he discriminated against us. I have never nor will I EVER step foot in there again and would never recommend this place. I now go to get my ring cleaned and polished at Jared’s. Shame that a local business has horrible owners with bad customer service. Bad doesn’t fully encompass what we experienced.

4 /5 Cindy Brickner: I arrived very late in the day. Couldnt fix my watch band that day, but told me what day n times were available. Polite, knowledgeable, service oriented.

1 /5 Preet Kaur: I would give it zero stars if that was possible. The owner is extremely rude and made irrelative comments. I went in for an appraisal of the ring, He didnt provide me the price before the appraisal and charged me really high amount after. The owner argued with me when I told him that I was not provided with price of the appraisal when I came in, he said that is how it works. Also, he asked for the receipts of my ring and took the amount from the receipts, typed it up and signed the paper and charged me super high amount for that instead of doing the proper appraisal for the ring. Anywhere you go they will tell you the price before what they going to charge. Save yourself, go anywhere but dont go here.
