These are difficult to find because the best diamonds are usually cut into round brilliants and we wanted a very square and outstanding cushion cut. The necklace is a special one and we were worried it might not be repairable—but Larry handled it with such care and precision. He explained the issue clearly, and had it fixed beautifully and quickly. My daughter was thrilled to have it back in perfect condition! It’s rare to find this level of personal service these days. Jacob Lavoie Highly recommended! The first time we came in was to have a ring that we got from California Numismatic Funding off East Vista Wy. resized (from a 12 to a 7 or 8), cleaned and polished for the big day. John advised us about the condition of the ring and the mounts that the stones were in, we opted to just have it resized, cleaned & polished. Flash forward a bit and one of the stones fell out (our fault NOT Johns) so my wife stopped wearing it till we could afford to get it fixed. Flash forward to a couple weeks ago. We bring the ring in and ask John what we can do to have it fixed and change the center stone. He recommended that the matching stone that hadnt fallen out be replaced with a new one and same for the the one that had. He gave us options for the center, we settled on a sapphire CZ (my wife and I dont like diamonds). This time John fixed the two side stones mounts and the middle stones mounts, a cleaning & polish. The ring is now absolutely beautiful and my wife and I love it.

She is wise and insightful, and the perfect guide if you are looking for a memorable & rewarding experience in customizing, upgrading, or purchasing fine jewelry. I first went in to have my engagement ring and wedding band re-imagined into a new piece, keeping the original diamond from the solitaire as the focal point. Sadie intuitively knew exactly what I was looking for, and was able to make some excellent suggestions. The jeweler is also very creative and artistic, so he made some enhancements, and what I got back took my breath away!! My husband was also super impressed, & loved the upgrade!! Well, riding that high, I brought in more pieces of jewelry and was able to transform 2 heirloom pieces, and do a partial trade-in with another piece for 2-carat diamond studs. The aquamarine pendant on platinum is an absolute show-stopper. The aquamarine is huge, but wasn’t set on a usable piece of jewelry. Sadie and the Jeweler turned it into a MASTERPIECE, that still kept the spirit of the original setting. Lastly, my family ruby ring was able to be a partial trade-in for an upgraded piece with higher quality rubies and diamonds. Overall this is one of the most fun shopping experiences I’ve ever had! I loved getting to be a part of the creative process, and see how my ideas were run with, and turned into something even better than I knew to hope for. Sadie is an absolute GEM (pun intended) to work with. Blue Diamond Jeweler really has the dream team in place. I can’t wait to go back!
