1 /5 Britnee Dunn: Eric, whom I believe is the shop owner is incredibly rude and classist, not only to customers but to his staff as well with customers present; really bad look. I’ve been in the world of fine jewelry as a child having learned the trade from a family member. I called in advance to ensure the service I was in search of was offered, drove an hour out of my way to come to this specific shop, only to be talked down to SEVERELY by Eric when I arrived. I came in to have a couple pieces tested for carat purity, to which he stated “we don’t just test gold pieces for free, that’s not what we do here”. His tone could not have been more condescending… I was pretty taken aback as A) I called in advance sharing exactly the service I needed, and was told to come on in. B) there were other guests of a much older age present (I am a millennial) as he spoke down to me as though I had or knew nothing of value. I let him know I never expect anything for free (to assume I do is an insult to me personally as well as my business savvy), and was simply searching for a paid service most jewelers offer, and was told he also offered by his own associate over the phone. He just seemingly assumed I was a young woman with no knowledge, nothing of value and there to exploit his time..? Very strange, EXTREMELY insulting, especially considering it was my very first visit (and last) to this store. It felt similar to being on a first date and the guy is just abusing the staff as you sit and watch, but he lacks so much self-awareness that he doesn’t even realize you’re about to “visit the restroom” and never return to the table. There are MANY kind, talented jewelers in Sonoma County who will treat you with care and gratitude no matter your business; I recommend Dan Troudeau and associates at Halem & Co. in the Sonoma Square. Save yourself the trauma and/or a potential boxing match if you’re more like me and have some fire in you, cause I’ll tell ya had the southern girl in me come out a little harder I’d’ve been tempted to pop this guy back into place!! Eric, shame on you. Do better. Jewelry friends, SAVE YOURSELVES!!!

5 /5 Gary Giffin: I Found my grail watch here at Olde Towne Jewelers. I was able to deal direct with Eric the Owner. He gave me the history behind Doxa Sub 200 T.graph I wanted to purchase. This was all done by phone and email just before a big Holiday. The watched was shipped direct to my home and went right on my wrist. Great service and easy to work with. Thank you Eric!

5 /5 Nicole Weissman: I visited this shop today for a watch battery replacement, which they took care of in 5 minutes while also educating me about my vintage watch. While I waited I checked out one of the best selections of fine estate jewelry I’ve seen in years - curated but still a wide selection, with a combination of classic and quirky pieces and a really amazing price range. Divine gemstone rings in the several thousands, bowls of well-chosen sterling silver rings $50ish, and everything in between. Nice vintage watches, beautiful cameos, loads of engagement rings and wedding bands. Turquoise, coral, citrine, emeralds, rubies, etc. All guaranteed authentic and I don’t doubt it for a second. Prices are fair, staff are friendly, honest, and knowledgeable (everyone was awesome but Claudette helped me the most!), and I just wish I lived here so I could come in all the time and build a relationship with these great folks.

5 /5 Briana Hoyt: My husband and I went into this jewelry store before we got married to add an opal to my grandfathers ring. We were helped by Rose, who offered her advice and expertise. I must admit I was a little nervous to have any work done to such a sentimental piece and that’s one of the reasons why I chose to go with Old Towne Jewelers, because they have a jeweler there, so the piece did not need to be sent out to a jeweler in the mail. Rose took great care with the ring and found the most perfect black opal to set inside. She made sure to hand deliver and pick up with the jeweler and worked with us on finding the perfect stone, made sure it was done in time for our wedding and kept us updated along the way. We even built up the gold channeling to hold the existing diamonds in there better since the ring was so old and worn. Now the ring is perfectly how I imagined it for my husband and we are so happy with it! They sized the ring too and it fits him great! I was so happy to find a local place to get this done, as many jewelers would not touch an opal for a men’s rings. But when you want to get something custom done , and jewelers tell you they can’t, go try Old Towne Jewelers, they will more than likely make the piece of your dreams. They did for us and I couldn’t recommend a better jewelry store. Not to mention the vibe inside is so cool almost like a museum when you walk inside. Go check it out for yourselves! Highly recommend!
