1 /5 David Ritchie: Maffei has just undergone a large billing initiative to modernize their back office systems and from what I can see, it has gone totally pear shaped.
I had one policy canceled because the applied auto to home owners and all electronic billing has stopped working.
This in itself is not the reason I give them such a bad rating. It was the attempt to gaslight me and make it seem like it was my fault, when in fact it is a major issue on there side, which was confirmed by my broker.
I had one claim in about 10 years for a broken mirror that was struck when I parked. I have an Audi SQ5 and they offered 300 bucks for the claim, after weeks of battling, in which I had no car, they paid to get it fixed for the 4k it really cost.
This has been my experience take it for what its worth.
